Healthy Spine can Mean Height Increase

There are lots of ways which can contribute to our growth. These ways can be categorized in two: natural methods and man-made techniques which are least likely preferred since they may lead to detrimental side effects when not used properly. Given this fact, it is always suggested to always try the natural schemes focusing on important key points that are essential to our growth.

We always thought that our legs are what make us taller. True but not really. Our spinal column can also put in two cents to our growth. Our spine holds brain receptors that are responsible for the performance of our body functions. Put it this way, when the spine is in good shape, it’ll be easier for us to carry out any activities that we need to pull off.

Now, let’s study the scientific part of it. Have you heard of inter vertebra discs? I have not, to tell you honestly. As part of the research, I have found out that these discs are made up of tissues working like shock absorbers and are located in between our vertebrae. Also, these discs can be considered as the focal point of spine lengthening as they are the most flexible and stretchable part.

Stretching exercises and full-range activities—involve cut loose movements for the smooth passage of our blood and fluid through the discs—are of big help in maintaining balance for our spines. Without these exercises, the discs can be less elastic which could later result to decrease in height.

Maintaining a proper posture can also be an alternative when performing exercise isn’t that much convenient. By this, we can lessen the pressure that our spine receives whenever we stand up or sit down.

Right sleeping position can also be favorable to us. By right we mean lying down flat on the bed. Getting complete sleep not only gives us relaxing feeling but it also helps us in growing taller.
